This month, we’re excited to introduce Nick Peterson, our Manager of Product Development and Engineering. Get to know Nick and learn about his journey, inspirations, and the impact he’s making at Apollo Bath.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nick joined Apollo Bath right out of college in 2016 and has been with us for eight years, growing into a vital role in product development and engineering. His love for math, science, and art, which started at a young age, naturally led him into engineering\u2014a field that perfectly blends his diverse skills. At Apollo Bath, Nick channels his talents to create products that improve people’s quality of life, a mission that aligns with his personal and professional values.<\/span><\/p>\n

Inspiration plays a significant role in Nick’s daily drive. His wife Madigan and their newborn daughter Clover, who was born in July, motivate him to excel every day. He is driven by the desire to make them proud and leave a positive mark through his work. Nick is also guided by a favorite quote from Stephen Hawking: \u201cRemember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious.\u201d This curiosity fuels his passion for innovation and problem-solving.<\/span><\/p>\n

Outside of work, Nick enjoys homebrewing craft beer. For him, it\u2019s not just a hobby but a creative outlet that combines fun and challenge as he designs and brews new flavors. This same creativity and love for challenges are evident in his professional life, where he thrives on finding innovative solutions to complex problems. He describes the moment of discovering a solution, often unexpectedly during routine activities, as an amazing feeling\u2014a “lightbulb moment” that makes all the hard work worthwhile.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nick finds fulfillment in the impact his work has on others, whether it\u2019s through designing new features for Apollo Bath’s systems or streamlining internal processes. He believes that even small improvements can make a big difference in someone\u2019s day-to-day life, and that\u2019s what makes his job so rewarding. Late afternoons, when distractions are minimal, are his favorite time of day at work; it’s when he can fully immerse himself in creative thinking and innovation.<\/span><\/p>\n

At Apollo Bath, Nick has felt supported in his growth and development. The company\u2019s commitment to investing in its employees shines through in the trust and freedom he\u2019s given to pursue new skills and explore new ideas. This supportive environment extends to the broader Apollo Bath team, where a strong sense of camaraderie and a family-like culture prevail.
